Vikiana Petit-Homme

Vikiana Petit-Homme is a college student who responded to the March For Our Lives movement as a high school junior when she helped organize two substantial marches to prevent gun violence. Vikiana is now a Regional Director with March For Our Lives Boston.

Manuel & Patricia Oliver

Manuel and Patricia Oliver lost their son Joaquin – known as Guac – in the Parkland High School shooting. The Olivers started a non-profit advocacy group called Change the Ref that seeks to empower future leaders and vote out politicians who take NRA money. Manuel uses his artistic training to keep the focus on Guac and the 16 other lives lost. His new play “GUAC: My Son, My Hero” tours across the country.

Gerald D. Givens

Gerald D. Givens Jr., is the President of the Raleigh-Apex National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP). He also serves as Chair of the North Carolina NAACP Election Procedures Committee, and is a veteran of the U.S. Air Force.

Daphne Frias

Daphne Frias is the New York State Director of March for Our Lives and the founder of the Box the Ballot, a bipartisan initiative to collect students absentee ballots. As a proud member of the Latina and disability communities , Frias has brought attention to the ways gun violence and climate change are impacting marginalized groups that are under represented in the media.

Gail Weinstein

Gail Weinstein, a M&A lawyer with the Manhattan based firm Fried Frank, heard recordings of children being separated from their parents at the US-Mexico border, and joined the Dilley Pro Bono Project to provide legal counsel to immigrants detained at the South Texas Family Residential Center in Texas. Gail coordinated nearly100 attorneys at Fried Frank who volunteered their time to work for detained immigrants at Dilley.

Elizabeth Cavazos

A resident of Rio Grande Valley, Elizabeth responded to the family separation crisis playing out in her community by putting herself on the front lines of a political controversy for the first time in her life. Her group is Angry Tias and Abuelas of RGV, which won a Robert F. Kennedy Human Rights Award for their work at the border.

Aylett Colston

Aylett Colston is a lawyer in the Raleigh-Durham area. When she witnessed the North Carolina Board of Elections trying to restrict voter access to the ballot box, she set aside her day job to fight for what she considers our most important right – the right to vote. Today she is the Chair – Political Action at the Raleigh-Apex NAACP.

Eric Liu

Eric Liu is the co-founder and CEO of Citizen University. He also directs the Aspen Institute’s Citizenship & American Identity Program and is the author of several books, including “You’re More Powerful Than You Think: A Citizen’s Guide to Making Change Happen.”

Keith Sellars

Along with 11 other residents of Alamance County, N.C, Keith Sellars was arrested for the crime of having voted in the 2016 election. Their case gained national attention and turned Keith into a voting rights activist.
